Hi All...
This is my 1st blog, so guys, pls excuse me if i type/say anything wrong :) here.
Yesterday, met Aadesh Mistry (accidentally) at Churchgate Station in train when i was returning my way back to home. Well, i met him after a long time and it was pleasure meeting him, though he was busy with his personal SMSs (won't mind Aadesh). Aadesh is working in TCS as Usability Interface Expert and doing a course of Human Computer Interaction.
I feel really happy to know that more people are getting into User Interface fields and the demand for such a profile is also now in focus. It's great to know that people are trying to deliver what end user would be more comfortable in using it.
I am hoping to see a Degree Course on HCI (Human Computer Interaction) in India.
Thanks,
Keep Bloging,
Prash [www.PrashantPoladia.com]

Hi Prashant. Nice to see you blogging too. HCI is an evolvng subject and even though a course is not out of place, it requires one to keep in sync with the trends by updating ones knowledge & reading research papers.
ReplyDeleteThanks ROMAAA.... :)
ReplyDeleteSurely i will try my best to get going from here. So anyways, howz ur presentation? :)
Prash
hi Bhooshan,,,
ReplyDeleteI agree with your point, but again if there will be few courses available, people (old folks / new comers)can definately make their base stronger.
Prash
Hello Prashant,..
ReplyDeletei one of ur net frnds.. may b u wont remember... However nice to c u bloggin! :)
Google has revloutionized the HCI by making simple interface yet any user novice to xpert can manage well. And the current trend is such a way that UI designing is so important that it is taking more time than the development of the business logic.. its an exaggeration but.. almost true.
All the best Prashant.
ReplyDeleteHey Prashant, IIT IDC has a course where you can partly focus on HCI. Also just found out that they have itneroduced another course on Interaction Design http://www.idc.iitb.ac.in/academics/interaction-design.html Also NID has a course in Software Design. So it's not that there are no courses in India.
ReplyDeleteHey thats cool prash, you can check out my blog at http://www.keithdsouza.com too
