Hurayyyyyyyy !!!
Just cleared CUA™ (Certified Usability Analyst) Exam of HFI.
Sincere thanks to all of you, special thanks to Chirutha Dalal and Bhooshan Pandya for sharing their exam experience with me.
I am very much excited now, but yes, it do not stops here. I need to start implementing it in real world which would be much more difficult than giving exam.
Please do share your experience with me regarding Usability Implementation in your organization.
Congratulations Prashant :-)
ReplyDeleteI am very Happy for you and Rahul.

Thanks Karuna.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, congrats prashanth for clearing CUA and your continued blogging effort. I Came into your blog through the thread HFI,
ReplyDeleteI'm just thinking of this certification,I have 2 questions with you on this
1. how much was the fee is there any hidden cost ?
2. Time you would need to prepare for the exam and appear?
Thanks very much -sam
A-1. Rs. 70 thousands (with Tax), No Hidden Cost. CUA Exam Fees 7 Thousand Extra. They give special discount to individuals who spent from their own pockets.
ReplyDeleteFor Detailed Information contact archana@humanfactors.com as they keep reducing their fees and few other discounts.
A-2. I prefer its better to give 1 or 2 months time for understanding Usability Concepts better way and then give exam. Check my other entires on guidelines for the CUA Exam.
Thanks,
Prash

Congratulations dude
ReplyDeleteThanks Suhel...
DeleteHey thanks for guidance.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to know how feasible it is to give exam without taking HFI training.
It was open book exam in 2007 and I know that few folks cleared CUA without attending HFI courses. If the paper pattern is same then i guess you can give it on your own too. I believe HFI charges around 30k INR if you are not attending their courses. Please double check current fee structure with HFI.
