About Zeest
Zeest is based in Karachi Pakistan, formed, owned and lead by SKIP (Saqib Abdullah), Who is the composer, guitarist, lyricist, and vocalist.
Basically ‘Zeest’ is a Persian word, which means ‘Life’, but can be used as a hope, a light, a faith etc. Skip chose this word as a title of the band just because he thought this name could reflect his work, the area where he mainly focus, i.e. highlighting on social youth issues and to create a ray of hope for them. He thinks singing for a social cause is far better than singing just for a romance. After launching other songs everyone will clearly understand the motive of the band’s ideology.
